Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often about vehicle wraps, signage, pricing and turnaround.
How much does vehicle branding cost in South Africa?
It depends on the vehicle, the coverage area and the complexity of the design. As a rough guide, partial branding (door graphics and decals) typically starts from a few thousand rand, while a full colour-change wrap on a bakkie or sedan generally runs from the low tens of thousands upward. We provide a detailed, itemised quote for every job so there are no surprises once work starts.
How long does a vehicle wrap last?
A correctly installed cast-vinyl wrap typically lasts 5 or more years under normal South African conditions. Parking mostly in direct sun, or frequent automated car washes, can shorten that. We use UV-stable materials specifically chosen for our climate.
Will wrapping my vehicle damage the paintwork underneath?
No, when a wrap is installed and later removed correctly, the paint underneath is generally in better condition than an unwrapped panel, since the wrap has been shielding it from UV and minor scuffs the whole time.
Do you only work in Johannesburg and Gauteng?
Our home base and fastest turnaround is Germiston and greater Gauteng, but we regularly complete projects across Mpumalanga, the North West, and nationwide for logistics, mining and retail clients with vehicles or sites in multiple provinces.
Can I supply my own artwork?
Yes. We accept print-ready vector artwork (AI, EPS or high-resolution PDF). If your files need adjustment for print, our design team can help. If you don't have artwork at all, we design from scratch as part of the quote.
Do you handle safety and compliance signage, or only branding?
Both. Alongside vehicle wraps, fleet branding and shopfront signage, we supply SANS-compliant hazard, emergency and PPE signage for warehouses, factories, mines and commercial sites.
How quickly can you turn around an order?
Most vehicle wraps and signage projects are completed within 5 to 7 working days of final artwork approval. Larger fleets and multi-site signage rollouts are scheduled upfront so you know the full timeline before committing.
Do you offer website design and digital marketing as well as physical signage?
Yes, it's in our name for a reason. Alongside vehicle wraps and signage, we build mobile-first websites and run local SEO, Google Business Profile management and Google Ads campaigns, so your brand is just as visible online as it is on the road.
How do I request a quote?
Call or WhatsApp us on 071 713 3860, email sales@digitalmarketing-group.co.za, or use the contact form on this site. We'll typically respond with a free quote within 24 hours.
Do you offer a warranty on materials?
Yes. We use 3M and equivalent premium cast vinyl backed by manufacturer warranties, and we stand behind our own installation workmanship. Specific warranty terms are confirmed in writing on your quote.
Do you brand trucks and trailers, or just cars and bakkies?
Both. Truck branding, wrapping and signage for rigids, curtain-siders and tankers is one of our core services, alongside car and bakkie wraps, and we scope fleet jobs of any size.
Is truck wrapping more expensive than wrapping a car?
Generally yes, simply because of the surface area involved, a trailer has far more vinyl on it than a hatchback. Material and labour scale with size, but the process and quality standard are the same regardless of vehicle type.
What's the difference between PPF and a vinyl wrap?
PPF (paint protection film) is a clear film that protects your existing paint without changing how the car looks. A vinyl wrap is a coloured or printed graphic that changes the vehicle's appearance. Some clients use both together: PPF on impact zones, a wrap or decals for branding.
Do you offer vehicle signage for a single bakkie, not just full wraps?
Yes. Magnetic signs, door lettering and panel signage are a real, standalone service for businesses that want a professional-looking vehicle without a full-wrap budget, and they can be upgraded to a full wrap later.
